The Railway Hotel is a family run pub with Bed and Breakfast, located in the centre of the village of Haydon Bridge, seven miles west of Hexham. Our bar offers a wide range of ales such as Deuchars and Black Sheep plus quality home-cooked meals. Guests are always welcomed into a friendly and relaxed atmosphere whilst visiting our beautiful countryside.
Situated by the River South Tyne, we are in the middle Hadrian's Roman Wall Country, two minutes from the railway station (Newcastle-Carlisle line) at Haydon Bridge. A regular bus service (685) runs along the A69.
We can pick walkers 'doing the Wall' up and drop them off in the morning if asked nicely! Vindolanda, Housteads and Chesters are only five minutes away.
